The call for returning mentors is open!
We’re looking for past students living in the United States to serve as mentors at this year’s International HPC Summer School, in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, from July 9–14, 2023. Further information and link to the online application can be found below. The due date is Friday, March 24, AOE.
In addition to mentorship, your responsibilities will include giving a lightning talk about your work and career path, running the poster sessions, and assisting students during hands-on sessions.
Preference will be given to applicants who did not serve as returning mentors at the 2022 Athens Summer School and to applicants who have had a change in career stage (grads that are now post-docs or have a professional position, post-docs who are now faculty or have a professional position, etc.) since they attended the Summer School. You will be expected to attend the entire Summer School, Sunday evening through Friday afternoon. Travel, lodging, and food expenses will be paid by the Summer School.
